There’s no better inspiration and satisfaction for us than having our host sharing the same passion and exploration for food culture as we do. Iva has, to the point of being envious, a very rich mouthwatering experience with Asian cuisine, that to as was a first hand strike for an exotic trip this Missy Onion dining story is all about. For a significant amount of time it was wish of ours to cook Indian, and so we did.
Collaborative atmosphere lushed in her amazing apartment. The beautiful chaos in the kitchen revived an utterly vivid aroma of richness and succulent flavours. Ladies, you have our biggest respect and appreciation for involving your strive for creativity and cleverly improvised capture of Indian authentic mood.
It was a long time, а true anticipation test, before we sat together around the turntable setting, crossed legs, sharing plates and digging into our servings like Vikings after a conquering battle. The first bite was like a warm hug, seemingly lasting for hours, and not only the temperature heat of the dish creates such warmth, but the perfectly interlaced combination of spices. At the end of it all, maybe our skin and bones smelled like an Indian kitchen after all that diversity, but it was a sacrifice we had to endure for the warmth in our souls.
